1992 Yamaha WR500z
Introduced in 1991, billed as a 1992 model, and produced until late 1993, the WR500 was an updated version of the aged, but venerable YZ490. The engine was the same mill that powered the YZ490, unchanged except for few details, including a new combustion chamber, pipe and silencer. The stock two stroke 487 cm³ engine was capable of 62 BHP @ 6.500 rpm with a torque of 6.9 Kgm @6.000 rpm and with only few pounds over 121,8 kg with oil and full fuel tank the fun was guaranteed.
