Winston Yeh’s XJR1300‘Guerilla Four’ by Rough Craft
This bike is an even more interesting if we think that the result was mainly reached with the new custom bodywork without cutting or welding the frame. The front forks have been replaced by those from a Yamaha VMAX, shortened by 10 cm and are now held by Rough Crafts custom-made triple trees. All instrumentation has been removed for getting a clean dashboard. The wheels are by Roland Sands and wear Coker Beck Style tyres. The whole bike is painted and pin striped in black by Air Runner Custom Paint in Taipei: the result is the typical dark Guerrilla look, completed by the Wrenchmonkees engine cover. Metal fabrication was undertaken by OneHandMade Customs while Anodizing took care of the chroming and plating work.
Questa moto è ancora più interessante se si pensa che il risultato è stato raggiunto principalmente con la realizzazione artigianale di una nuova carrozzeria senza tagliare o saldare il telaio. La forcella è di una Yamaha VMAX, accorciata di 10 cm ed è ora tenuta da piastre su misura. Tutta la strumentazione è stata rimossa per ottenere un cruscotto pulito. Le ruote sono di Roland Sands e i pneumatici Coker Beck Style. Tutta la moto è verniciata in nero da Air Runner Custom Paint di Taipei: il risultato è il tipico aspetto dark della serie Guerrilla, completato dal carter Wrenchmonkees. La componentistica in metallo è stata realizzata da OneHandMade Custom mentre Anodizing ha curato le (poche) finiture cromate.
