The unbelievable Guy Martin's GSXR
Last summer Guy Martin won the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb in the UTV/Exhibition division. The legendary TT rider and truck mechanic, participated in the competition with a bike he built himself – a Martek Custom Turbo: a 1991 Suzuki GSX-R 1100 (bored to 1380cc) rebuilt using racing suspension and brakes, a Martek frame and swingarm, electronic fuel injection and a turbocharger which brought the power up to 550hp!
La scorsa estate Guy Martin ha vinto la Pikes Peak International Hill Climb nella divisione UTV/Exhibition. L’ormai leggendario pilota del TT e meccanico di camion, ha partecipato con una moto autocostruita - una Martek custom Turbo: una Suzuki GSX-R 1100 del 1991 (portata a 1380cc) dotata di sospensioni e freni da corsa, telaio e forcellone Martek, iniezione elettronica e turbo con una potenza fino a 550cv!
